Hi & welcome to the world of PAMShare

A web site dedicated to Fairport's PAM clients - designed to operate on any screen size (tablet, phone & desktop computer).

Send your farm map if you're running PAM+Mapping - if not, no problem PAMShare will work just fine without the map screen. Send specially formatted PAM reports to PAMShare using the Fairport Data Exchange

Next, grant permission to your consultants, agronomists and family members to view your reports:

    1. Summary Reports of all records for each paddock for the current season and for a user-defined number of prior years - grouped into the event types (just like the Season Summary screen in PAM)

    2. Same as above, but with all jobs listed in date order & showing who recorded the job (handy for seeing who entered the records in PocketPAM2)

    3. Financial summary report & costs graphs for each paddock for the current season-to-date and a user-defined number of prior years (only for those who you have granted 'view financials' permission)

    4. The same reports as above but for your current season's master budget

    5. Crop Rotations Reports for each paddock (going back 5 years)

    6. Cropped areas pie charts for the current season & 5 prior

    7. Cropped Areas Map - with pop-up "Info Windows" for each paddock showing crop/variety & area, livestock information (total livestock units & stocking rate)

    8. Send messages to one or more members of your "group" ... (that is, those people you have granted permission to view your reports)

    9. Pin messages to one or more members of your "group" onto specific locations on your farm map.

    10. If you run livestock, we have the following reports for you:
      1. The "Stocked Paddocks" report
      2. The "Empty Paddocks" report
      3. The "Category-Mob Tallies" report

    11. Rainfall monthly totals graphs & wet days graphs going back a user-defined number of years for each of your weather stations.

The prerequisites are:

  1. A PAM version 8 (version 8.5.1 or later)
  2. Fairport Club Membership (read about it here) with a subscription to use the Fairport Data Exchange included in your membership. (Cost = $100 +gst per year)
  3. That's all

How it works

Within PAM 8 is a screen where you choose to send reports to the PAMShare web site. These options can be found on the same utilities form where you set your PocketPAM2 options. You simply tick the box and nominate the frequency that you would like the system to refresh the PAMShare reports (See below) . Also choose the number of years of history you want to upload for your annual paddock summary & finacial reports.

Fairport Data Exchange

Having done that, you simply log into the PAMshare web site using your email address and Fairport Club Member's number and view the reports.

To enable others to see your reports, click on the "Guest list" on the home screen (that is once you are logged in) and on that screen, look for the button at the bottom of the screen that takes you to the "Add a guest" screen.

Tips & Trouble shooting

The farm map

PAMShare relies on your farm map being set up correctly in PAM. Please ensure that you have all your paddocks "linked" to their polygons.

Once you have drawn all your paddocks, display your paddock layer. It is a good idea to turn off all other layers for this job. (Hint: Turn off all layers in the Layer Manager, then turn your paddock layer back on).

Check this help video if you are not sure how this works...
